COVID-19 STATEMENT

We are delighted to announce that as of Friday 17th July, we are able to offer face to face appointments! We have been working hard behind the scenes, creating a very safe environment for both patients and team members, minimising the risk of transmission of Covid-19.

 

We will operate with a closed door and appointments will be arranged online, by email or on the telephone.

Things are going to look different when coming to visit us, at least for a while.

Before your appointment:

  • You will be asked to confirm your Covid-19 status. If you or any members of your household have Covid-19 or showing any symptoms of Covid-19, we will not be able to see you.

  • If you have any changes in your Covid-19 status, please inform us before your appointment.

  • If you need to be accompanied by a chaperone or carer, please inform us before arrival.

  • Please be aware your medical history will be updated verbally, if there are any changes to your medication, please email them to us.

  • Arriving at the practice:

  • Please do not arrive too early. Phone 07732429234 to confirm your arrival and we will meet you at the front door. Also please bring a pen with you in case we need a signature for our documents. Our toilet facilities will be closed, in case of an emergency please inform one of our staff members.

 

Entering the practice:

  • We will open the front door inviting you into the practice.

  • Please be aware that we will be wearing extra Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safety of our patients and staff.

  • We will escort you straight to one of our treatment rooms. You will be asked to confirm your current Covid-19 status, and you will be advised to disinfect your hands with alcohol-based hand gel available at the entrance.

  • If you have a chaperone or carer, they will have to wear a face mask that has to be worn during your visit.

  • Please avoid touching any surfaces and maintain a safe distance. Please leave all your belongings at home or in your car if possible.

  • Card payments are preferred where possible.

 

Treatment room:

  • Upon entering the treatment room, we will be wearing extra Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in order to provide you with the right care and service, we cannot adhere to social distancing recommendations.

  • Please be reassured each treatment room is carefully cleaned and disinfected after each patient, one of the reasons all appointments might take longer than usual.

After your appointment:

  • When the treatment is complete, we can take any payments in the surgery, preferably by card.

  • Before leaving, you will be advised to disinfect your hands with alcohol-based hand gel.

  • If you have any questions or concerns after your appointment, please get in touch by phone or email and Dr David will be available to assist you.

  • We hope that all those measures will provide reassurance when visiting, that every step has been taken to ensure the safety of you and our team members.
